Our Bangtao beach Restaurant & Cafe, also known as ‘La Qingting Phuket’, is going to be located by the beach in-between Bang Thao, Choeng Thale, Surin beach and Laguna beach on the island of Phuket.
Unfortunatly we have still now found the right venue and location yet but here’s a little about what ‘La Qingting Phuket’ will be like, hopfully by the start of high season 2026.
Our Bangtao Restaurant Food And Beverages
We will offer a menu with local Thai, Burmese and Malay curry, noodles, street food, 
snacks and meals for both adults and children to bottled local beers and spirits, cool zero alcohol and sugar free beers and Thailand grown wines, and using our very own hand-made probiotic Water Kefir, fruit, herbs, vegetables and plant based protein powders we offer the most unique smoothies, juices and herbal drink available in Phuket. No imported food or drinks here.
We will also offer a unique main menu of freshly caught Phuket live seafood and fish and plant based vegetarian and vegan food to suit all tastes, requirements, and palates!
From our Phuket coffee & tea shop we offer a selection of great tasting locally grown Thai organic decaf and premium coffee, Thai grown organic black and green tea, herbal tea blends, which are all hand picked in the north of Thailand, and by farmers who only uses a deforestation friendly concept to halt biodiversity and ecosystems loss.
Healthy Phuket Water Kefir & Smoothie Beverages
We pride ourselves on our healthy ice coffee, Phuket teahouse iced teas, smoothies and juices made with our very own hand crafted Phuket Water Kefir, our Phuket smoothies and juices made with an assortment of healthy ingredients, and our very own blend of protein and nutrient dense powders which includes organic Pea protein, Rice, Hemp, Sea Buckthorn and Acerola for one mix and also Flaxseed, Pumpkin, Sunflower, Amla and Camu Camu powders for the second. In our La Qingting shop we offer a range of branded products including our Thai grown organic decaf and premium coffee and organic green, black and herbal blended teas, and our eco-freindly bamboo style French press and tea, coffee and juice glasses. In numerous Hotels and shops around Bangtao we also have our designer eco-freindly bamboo / silk hand-fans and our elegant designer print silk scarves, shawls, head scarves, maxi dresses and bandanas, all made with our own unique tropical designs.
Bangtao Live Music, Dining & Nightlife
Bang Tao and Cherngtalay in Phuket offers numerous venues for live music, DJ, beach shows, dining experiences and nightlife, be it in restaurants, bars or beach clubs. You can find a variety of bands and genres, including reggae, blues, soft rock, club and Thai music, with specific bands frequently playing and places with DJ type club sounds at certain venues around the Bangtao, Choeng Thale, Surin and Laguna beach in Phuket.
Obviously at ‘La Qingting’, and our Bangtao Beach Bar & Cafe, we would normally only offer our own venue as the main event, which is coming soon, but for now we are happy to advertise our friends who have live music in Bangtao.

If you are wondering about the name ‘La Qingting’, which is pronounced in English ‘La Chingting, it’s derived from a play on words for ‘The Dragon Fly‘. In French (La = The) and in Chinese (Qingting (蜻蜓) = Dragon Fly).
